Following the close of the conference on Sunday, June 5th, we were excited to present a Special Post-Conference Dance Intensive with Ad Deum Dance Company founder, Randall Flinn and his dancers.

Ad Deum 3In this 2 hour intensive, attendees learned from and experienced the practices of the professional dance troupe, Ad Deum, who are dedicated to glorifying God through excellence and artistry. This was a practical, interactive intensive, that touched on elements of modern, ballet, contemporary, jazz, choreography, repertoire and more, as well as integrating those into worship dance.  Ad Deum 2


About Ad Deum Dance Company

Ad Deum was founded in January 2000 by Randall Flinn. The company is comprised of dancers from across the world, having now relocated to Houston, Texas. Ad Deum Ad Deum 1has toured across the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Central America and Asia receiving outstanding reviews. Their work has been featured in Dance Spirit Magazine and Dance Magazine, and they have performed annually in Project Dance at Times Square, NY for over ten years. Ad Deum performs the works of many amazing choreographers including  Steve Rooks (former principal dancer with Martha Graham), Caleb Mitchell (former Houston Ballet), Hope Boykin (Alvin Ailey), Bill Wade (Inlet Dance Theatre), Durell Comedy (Limon Dance Company), Randall Flinn and Stephen Wynne (Talk Dance Co.)

About Randall Flinn

Randall-FlinnMr. Flinn is the Director of Ad Deum Dance Company, based in Houston. He began his dance training in Houston over twenty-five years ago with Glenn Hunsucker, Camille Long Hill, Dina Vail and Patsy Swayze. His most recent modern dance influences have ScreenHunter_166 May. 11 23.03come from studies with The José Limón Dance Company and Steve Rooks, former principal dancer with Martha Graham. He has taught and choreographed locally as a guest artist for the Houston Ballet Academy, Houston Met Dance Company and many others.

He was selected as a guest choreographer for Houston’s Dance Salad 1999, Dance Houston 2006, and Texas Weekend of Contemporary Dance 2007. Nationally, he has served as guest faculty and choreographer for Cirque Du Soleil’s-Alegria, Ballet Magnificat, Belhaven University, Friends University, Project Dance NYC, LA, and Sydney, Australia, as well as Hillsong and Dance Revolution Conventions.

Having lived throughout Europe and Asia for ten years, Mr. Flinn has also been a guest artist for Hong Kong Ballet, City Contemporary – Hong Kong, Guanzhou Modern Dance Company – China, Xaris Danz Europe, and Youth With a Mission International Schools of the Arts.
